Spatio-temporal analysis of COVID-19 in India – a geostatistical approach

Coronavirus (Covid) is a severe acute respiratory syndrome infectious disease, spreads primarily between human beings during close contact, most often through the coughing, sneezing, and speaking small droplets. A retrospective surveillance research conducted in India 30th January–21st March 2020 to gain insight into Covid’s epidemiology spatial distribution. Voronoi statistics used draw attention of affected states from series polygons. Spatial patterns disease clustering are analyzed using global autocorrelation techniques. Local has also been observed statistical methods Getis-Ord G . The findings showed that clusters existed area research. Most concentrated central western India, while north-eastern countries still predominantly low-rate clusters. This simulation technique helps public health professionals identify risk areas for take decisions real time control this viral disease.
